Salted-Chocolate Rosemary Tart on {Paleo, GF, Dairy-Free}
  • Filling:
  • 10.5 oz chocolate of choice, roughly chopped (I use [url href=”” target=”_blank”]Equal Exchange semi-sweet chocolate chips[/url], but, feel free to use a paleo-approved chocolate like [url href=”” target=”_blank”]Pure7[/url] or [url href=”” target=”_blank”]Eating Evolved[/url])
  • 1-1/2 cups canned coconut milk, full fat, chilled
  • 2 eggs, thoroughly beaten
  • 1 tbsp ghee OR coconut oil
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup OR honey
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 3 – 4 to 5-inch sprigs of fresh rosemary (two for cream, one for garnish)
  • 1 – par-baked pie/tart crust (recipe below)
  • Single Pie Crust (adapted from Elana’s Pantry):
  • 1-1/2 cup almond flour
  • ½ cup [url href=”” target=”_blank” title=”Bob’s Red Mill Tapioca Flour 4-pk ( affiliate link – this is the brand I use)”]tapioca flour[/url]
  • 3 tbsp lard, frozen
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp water
  • ½ tsp sweetener of choice
  • ½ tsp sea salt
