Crispy Honey-Soy Garlic Wings {Paleo, Gluten-Free}
  • 1 lb. chicken wing parts
  • 3-4 fresh garlic cloves
  • 2 tbsp tapioca flour OR arrowroot powder
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp coconut aminos (I prefer to use San-J GF soy sauce - I'm okay with fermented soy in moderation)
  • ¼ tsp sea salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • scallions & sesame seeds for garnish
  1. Preheat oven to 400.
  2. Thoroughly pat-dry chicken wing parts with towel/paper towel.
  3. Toss wings in a bowl with tapioca/arrowroot, salt, and pepper. Shake off excess.
  4. Line a baking sheet with a lightly greased wire rack and evenly lay floured chicken wings on top.
  5. Bake for 45 minutes total, flipping wings halfway through.
  6. During the last 5 minutes, prepare the honey-soy glaze by mixing aminos/soy sauce, honey, and garlic in a small saucepan. Whisk over medium heat until thickened.
  7. Place still-hot wings in a large bowl and drizzle sauce over top, tossing until coated. Serve immediately, garnished with scallions & sesame seeds.
